Job summary

NEC Software Solutions is seeking a GIS Analyst to provide expert technical support on Geospatial products for customers. The role involves maintenance, improvement of products and services, and ensuring reliability and client satisfaction. Occasional UK travel for installation and consultancy is required.

The ideal candidate will diagnose complex issues, contribute to documentation, and collaborate across teams to deliver proactive solutions in a customer-facing capacity.

Qualifications

• Background in Geospatial or a related discipline to degree level.
• Experience in technically supporting customers across multiple products.
• Experience in a Service Desk environment handling complex issues with customers globally.
• Experience in analytical and statistical data modelling.
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support on Geospatial products to customers.
• Maintain and improve products, systems, and services for optimal performance and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and deliver proactive solutions.
• Create technical documentation and contribute to best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
• Travel to UK sites as required for installation, configuration and consultancy.
• Engage with customers, gather requirements and provide services to meet objectives.
