Job summary

FairTutors is seeking passionate online tutors specialising in GCSE and A‑Level Maths. The role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home while delivering engaging online lessons.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of teaching experience, strong GCSE/A‑Level Maths results, and the ability to commit to students for the agreed duration. Additional subjects such as Physics or Chemistry are a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably online.
• Confidence and expertise in teaching GCSE and A‑Level Maths.
• Strong GCSE and A‑Level maths grades; additional subjects if applicable.
• Undergraduate students, newly qualified teachers, unqualified teachers, or recent graduates are welcome.
• Gap year students with excellent grades and teaching experience are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Teach GCSE and/or A‑Level Maths in an engaging online environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to individual student needs and learning styles.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and the FairTutors team.
• Maintain clear communication with students and ensure lessons are well-prepared and consistent.
• Offer tutoring in additional subjects or provide expertise in both GCSE and A‑Level Maths when possible.
