Job summary

Scratchworks is seeking a Fundraising & Partnerships Manager to strengthen funding from arts bodies and non-arts sources. You will build partnerships beyond traditional arts sectors, shaping projects and audiences through diverse funding streams.

The role supports arts council applications and long-term growth, requires remote self-management, and aligns with Scratchworks’ feminist ethos and Exeter-base operations.

Qualifications

• Proven fundraising experience with income secured.
• Experience raising arts funds from non-arts sources (health, education, community, corporate).
• Genuine passion for theatre (small to mid-scale).
• Self-discipline to work remotely and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach new funders and partner organisations (arts & non-arts).
• Develop partnerships for short- and long-term collaboration.
• Write compelling bids, proposals and pitches for funding applications.
• Build and support management of different income streams and funders’ requirements.
• Represent Scratchworks with warmth and credibility in every conversation.
• Work closely with the team to connect creative work to the right partners/funders.
• Support Scratchworks' growth in a direction benefitting the company’s aims and audiences.
