Job summary

Ataxia UK is seeking a Fundraising Events & Community Manager on a six-month fixed-term contract. You will lead the delivery and development of our events and community fundraising programme, maximising supporter engagement and income growth across the UK.

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising & Communications, you will oversee the Events & Community Fundraising Officer, drive income targets, and collaborate with teams across fundraising, communications, finance and support services.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in community fundraising, events fundraising or supporter-led fundraising.
• Strong relationship management and stewardship skills.
• Experience of delivering fundraising activity against income targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Ataxia UK's community and events fundraising activities.
• Build relationships with supporters, volunteers, community groups and participants.
• Deliver outstanding supporter stewardship and experience.
• Identify opportunities to grow income and engagement.
• Monitor performance against targets and objectives.
• Coach and develop the Events & Community Fundraising Officer.
