Job summary

Ataxia UK is seeking a Fundraising Events & Community Manager for a six-month fixed-term contract. The role leads our events and community fundraising, maximising supporter engagement and income across a flexible UK remote/hybrid setup with occasional travel to our Highgate office and events.

You will report to the Director of Fundraising & Communications, building strong relationships with supporters, volunteers, and groups, while coaching a team member and collaborating across fundraising,

Qualifications

• Experience leading community and events fundraising programmes.
• Proven ability to grow income and engagement with supporters.
• Strong project management and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Ataxia UK's community and events fundraising activities.
• Build relationships with supporters, volunteers, and groups.
• Deliver outstanding stewardship and supporter experience.
• Identify opportunities to grow income and engagement.
• Manage and develop the Events & Community Fundraising Officer.
