Confidential is seeking a Freelance Digital Strategist to support its growing Strategy team on a diverse portfolio of global brands. The role offers remote working with occasional travel to London for client meetings.

You will develop integrated digital strategies, translate insights into clear recommendations, and collaborate with social, content, paid media, SEO and digital PR teams to drive client success.

Qualifications

• Proven digital strategy experience within an agency environment.
• Strong understanding of the wider digital marketing landscape, with experience working across multiple channels.
• Ability to turn complex or loosely defined client briefs into clear, actionable strategies.
• Experience collaborating with specialist teams across areas such as social, content, paid media, SEO and digital PR.
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into strategic direction.
• Confident presentation and communication skills, with experience developing client-facing strategic recommendations.
• A proactive, adaptable and hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple client briefs.
• Previous freelance or contract experience would be advantageous.
• Available to start at short notice and contribute with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Developing integrated digital strategies in response to a variety of client briefs and business challenges.
• Translating audience insights, research and business objectives into clear strategic recommendations.
• Bringing together different marketing disciplines, including social, content, paid media, SEO and digital PR, into cohesive strategies.
• Working closely with specialist teams to ensure channel recommendations align with wider client objectives.
• Developing strategic presentations, proposals and client-facing recommendations.
• Supporting strategic delivery across a varied portfolio of brands, sectors and markets.
• Identifying opportunities to strengthen strategic thinking and ways of working within the Strategy team.
• Staying ahead of emerging digital trends, including AI search, evolving consumer behaviour and new marketing opportunities.
