Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Foochow.
• Minimum 2 years of interpretation experience.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to ensure high accuracy.
• Ability to render concepts faithfully per interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions.
• Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication at client request.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally, following the interpreter’s code of conduct.
• Familiar with healthcare and medical terminology relevant to industry-specific vocabularies.
• Participate in internal professional training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.
• Based on your location, language testing and background check may be required.
