Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in interpreting or languages are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services.
• Check the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence.
• Perform conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting.
• Handle highly confidential information.
• Liaise between the service user and service provider.
