Job Summary

The NCA Service Desk team has a singular focus on minimising lost clinical and operational time by resolving incidents related to users’ access to IT services, systems and equipment. Members of this team maintain a relentless focus on customer needs with an analytical approach to incident management.

Main Duties

As a member of the Service Desk you will be accountable for minimising lost clinical and operational time due to incidents, working to restore colleagues’ access to IT services as quickly and simply as possible.

Qualifications (Essential)
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an IT related subject or equivalent experience
  • GCSE English and Maths (grade A‑C, or 4 and above)

  • ITIL Foundation
  • MSCE

Knowledge (Essential)
  • Knowledge of IT hardware such as PCs, tablets and printers
  • Proven ability to facilitate the installation of IT systems and equipment
