Job summary

Modaxo is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy and support enterprise network infrastructure across UK data centers and offices. You will lead routing, switching, FortiGate/ FortiADC deployments, and VPN access to ensure high availability and security.

The role emphasizes hands-on implementation, mentoring teammates, and contributing to security-compliance efforts within ISO 27001/Cyber Essentials Plus frameworks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience in data center environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate/ FortiADC and Dell switches.
• Experience with ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and support of enterprise network infrastructure in UK data centers and offices.
• Configure FortiGate firewalls, FortiADC load balancers, and Dell L2/L3 switches.
• Maintain core routing (OSPF), VPN access, and high availability architectures.
• Ensure security controls and compliance across environments; participate in incident response.
• Provide strategic input to infrastructure and network strategy with IT leadership.
