Job summary

Professional Construction Recruitment seeks a Fire Safety Delivery Manager to oversee fire safety and building safety projects across a portfolio. This home-based role requires regular site visits across the South East and travel to sites as needed.

You will manage programmes, budgets and contractor relationships to deliver works on time, within budget and to high safety standards. Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and residency considerations is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering fire safety/building safety remediation projects.
• Experience working within residential property or asset management.
• Familiarity with fire safety legislation and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of fire safety projects and remediation programmes.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, delivery plans and budgets.
• Manage contractors, consultants and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress, quality, costs and contractual performance.
• Undertake regular site visits and inspections to monitor works and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify defects, risks and non-compliance and implement corrective action.
• Manage works arising from Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs).
• Oversee fire safety works including fire doors, compartmentation, fire stopping and passive/active fire protection.
• Support procurement, tendering and contractor mobilisation.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with fire and building safety legislation and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate project, compliance and handover information.
• Manage risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders.
• Communicate with residents where works occur in occupied properties.
• Support programme reporting, governance and assurance.
