Turner Property Recruitment are working with a leading property and compliance consultancy seeking a Fire Safety Consultant/ Senior Fire Safety Consultant to join their expanding team. This is a permanent role with flexibility around location in the North of England or Midlands, providing fire safety services across a range of sectors, including NHS and public sector clients.

Purpose of the Role
The Senior Fire Safety Consultant will provide specialist advice, project management, and technical support in the delivery of fire safety services, ensuring compliance, safety, and operational excellence across client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the full range of fire safety surveying and consultancy services, including passive fire protection inspections, pre- and post-work assessments, and Fire Risk Assessments
- Conduct site inspections of fire doors, compartmentation, fire stopping, and other passive fire protection elements, providing specifications and design for remedial works
- Review and validate fire risk assessments and provide professional fire safety advice to clients
- Produce clear and concise reports highlighting remedial actions and solutions
- Monitor and manage fire safety projects from inception to completion, including planning, resourcing, and quality assurance
- Supervise associate surveyors and project teams, ensuring effective delivery
- Maintain health and safety compliance across all projects
- Collaborate with CAD and IT teams to produce fire compartmentation plans and integrate technology into service delivery
- Contribute to the development of broader compliance services, including asbestos re-inspections and legionella, where appropriate
- Engage in business development, helping to win new clients and expand service offerings
Essential Experience
- Strong understanding of the Fire Safety Regulatory Reform Order 2005
- Knowledge of UK Fire Safety legislation and Health & Safety regulations
- Experience in passive fire protection, including knowledge of systems and installation standards
- Proven experience delivering fire safety surveys, risk assessments, and producing technical reports
- Experience with compliance-based technology platforms (e.g., Bolster, Riskbase)
- Fire Risk Assessment experience, including complex premises
- Clean UK driving licence

Qualifications
- Relevant surveying, construction, or asset management qualification
- Membership of IFE or IFSM essential
- Desirable: IFSM CRFAR/TRFAR or FRACS accreditation
- Desirable: FDIS, ASFP, or IFE Level 3 Passive Fire Protection qualification
