Job summary

G2legal is seeking a Family Solicitor to manage a mixed caseload of private family matters with a hybrid/remote working pattern in Cheshire. You will handle divorce, financial remedy and private children work, while delivering high-quality client care and building strong client relationships.

You will be supported by experienced heads of department, with mentoring, centralised typing support, and opportunities for professional development within a collaborative team.

The Role

Family Solicitor to manage a varied caseload of private family law matters, covering a broad range of work, including:

• Divorce and financial matters
• Private children matters
• Cohabitation agreements
• TOLATA matters
• Injunctions
• Pre‑nuptial and post‑nuptial agreements
• Other privately funded family work

About You

Family Solicitor with experience managing a mixed family law caseload, with particular experience in divorce, financial remedy and private children matters.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be confident managing their own caseload from instruction through to conclusion
• Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills
• Take genuine ownership and pride in their work
• Have strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Be commercially aware and committed to contributing to the growth of the department
• Enjoy building lasting relationships with clients
• Be a positive and collaborative member of a wider team

This is a well-supported position, with access to trainee solicitor/paralegal assistance and centralised typing support, enabling you to focus on your clients and the quality of your legal work.
