Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist - External Data (Remote - UK) to support definition, setup and ingestion of external data streams for clinical trials. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams and external data providers to ensure data transfer, ingestion and mapping align with study requirements.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, at least 3 years of data management experience in clinical research, and knowledge of SDTM and GCP/ICH

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing data in clinical research.
• Experience with external data sources (lab, ECG, imaging, biomarkers).
• Knowledge of SDTM and GCP/ICH guidelines.
• Experience working with external data providers in study settings.

Responsibilities

• Define, set-up and ingest External Data Streams per protocol.
• Liaise with data stakeholders to establish data transfer requirements.
• Create change requests for new data concepts.
• Develop trial-specific Data Transfer Agreements documenting data transfer.
• Ensure data transfer frequencies meet study timelines.
• UAT of test data transfers and data specifications.
• Implement data transfer mechanisms for external data streams into CDR.
• Monitor availability and accuracy of external data streams.
