Job summary

Pearson is seeking examiners to mark GCE/IGCSE and other qualifications. Roles are fully remote, allowing home-based work from Greater London and across the UK. Examiners will mark papers, follow the predefined mark scheme, and submit samples to Team Leaders on schedule.

The position requires recent teaching experience, a degree or equivalent, and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines. Standard marking procedures and administration must be completed as part of the role.

Qualifications

• One academic year's teaching experience within last 8 years.
• High level subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong marking accuracy and consistency are required.

Responsibilities

• Mark candidates' responses accurately and consistently.
• Submit samples to Team Leader at designated times.
• Adhere to marking milestones and procedures.
• Complete all administration as specified.
