Job summary

Mercor is seeking an experienced Evaluator for engineering/manufacturing/technical operations on a contract basis. The role requires evaluating AI-generated artifacts, identifying errors, and providing structured feedback. You will work independently to meet deadlines and help improve AI model performance.

Strong English fluency and top-notch skills in MS Office and Google Workspace, especially Slides, are required. An advanced degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in engineering, manufacturing or technical operations.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• High proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace, especially Slides.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated artifacts against domain-specific quality rubrics.
• Identify factual, aesthetic, and presentation errors.
• Provide clear, structured written feedback.
• Review AI-generated work products for accuracy and domain quality.
• Apply deep subject-matter expertise to grade outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
