Job summary

Allstate NI in Northern Ireland is seeking an Endpoint Security Engineer to secure and manage enterprise endpoint protection technologies across a global environment. The role focuses on administering CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and BeyondTrust PAM, partnering with Cyber Operations, Infrastructure, Desktop Engineering, and Identity teams to enhance security posture.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with EDR, scripting (PowerShell or Python), APIs, and GitHub

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity, endpoint security, or security engineering experience.
• Experience with EDR, antivirus/endpoint protection, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize endpoint security controls.
• Evaluate new endpoint security technologies.
• Develop security baselines and endpoint hardening standards.
• Provide technical guidance for endpoint-related security projects.
• Assist with security and compliance-based projects involving cloud, OS, applications, and databases.
• Support DevOps/SecOps tooling and automation via APIs and scripting.
