Job summary

Momenta Connect is seeking an Educational Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. Based in West London with regional/homebased options, you’ll conduct assessments, provide recommendations, and support children, young people and adults across settings including clinics and schools.

We offer flexible hours, 37.5 per week, permanent contract with summer and part-time options, regular supervision, CPD allowances, and generous wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or MSc in Educational Psychology.
• Registered with the HCPC as qualified Educational Psychologist.
• Registered with relevant professional body such as the BPS.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with children, parents, school staff, and local authorities.
• Knowledge of current legislation, policies, and frameworks related to educational psychology and SEN.
• At least 1-2 years' experience working as an Educational Psychologist.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Psychological Assessments: Conduct assessments of cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning and provide recommendations.
• Collaboration with Educational Settings: Work with mainstream and SEN schools and other providers to offer consultation and guidance.
• Consultation and Training: Provide guidance to school staff and local authorities through training workshops and seminars.
• Partnership with Local Authorities: Collaborate on inclusive policies and complete EHCNA assessments as needed.
• Research and Evaluation: Stay up to date with research and contribute to clinic initiatives.
• Report Writing and Documentation: Produce clear reports for parents, schools, local authorities, and professionals.
