Job summary

Data Idols is seeking an Ecommerce & Payments Technical Lead to strengthen online payment security and modernise ecommerce platforms. You’ll assess current integrations, identify weaknesses, and help deliver improvements while shaping new customer portals and secure checkout experiences.

You will combine ecommerce delivery with security expertise, guiding developers and liaising with business stakeholders to replace legacy systems and modernise the platform.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing ecommerce platforms and online payment integrations.
• Experience addressing payment fraud risks and strengthening checkout security.
• Knowledge of tokenisation, 3D Secure and PCI DSS considerations.
• Experience implementing digital wallet payment functionality.

Responsibilities

• Review existing ecommerce platforms and payment integrations to identify weaknesses and prioritise improvements.
• Investigate credit card fraud attacks and implement preventative controls.
• Design and support delivery of new customer portals and secure checkout journeys.
• Implement payment integrations and digital wallet functionality.
• Guide developers through technical design, implementation and testing.
• Support replacement of legacy ecommerce functionality.
