Job summary

Simpson Judge is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to own BC development, integrations, and transformations within a global financial services organisation. You will design, develop, and maintain BC customisations and extensions using AL and VS Code, and collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.

This role offers genuine ownership, autonomy to apply best practices, and opportunities to influence how BC is developed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Dynamics NAV/BC development experience.
• Strong AL and C/AL development skills.
• Experience with VS Code and Git.
• Understanding BC architecture and Extensions v2.
• Experience with event-driven programming.
• Experience with APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of Finance, Warehousing and Inventory processes.
• Nice to have: Power Platform, Power Automate, Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain BC customisations and extensions using AL and VS Code.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop integrations between BC and third-party/internal systems using APIs and web services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across dev, test and prod environments.
• Support BC upgrades, data migrations and deployments.
• Help establish best practices around source control, testing and DevOps.
• Contribute to the evolution of the BC platform.
