Job summary

SkyBound in London Waterloo is seeking a Remote Safety Pilot/Coordinator to support safe, compliant flight operations of our Automated Drone Station (ADS). You will assist flight testing, mission planning, risk mitigation, and operational coordination across real-world deployments.

The role requires hands-on drone experience, a GVC certificate, and strong aviation safety knowledge. You will work with clients and internal teams, travel as needed, and help uphold safety and performance across

Qualifications

• GVC is essential for the role.
• Experience operating drones in real-world environments.
• Strong aviation safety and risk management knowledge.
• Ability to follow structured procedures and maintain records.
• Confident communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct practical flight testing of the ADS.
• Lead risk mitigation activities and create risk assessments.
• Plan and coordinate flights using established procedures.
• Manage missions with SkyBound software.
• Liaise with clients to ensure smooth delivery.
• Produce reports and maintain detailed records.
• Capture data and ensure proper logging and storage.
• Uphold safety, compliance and operational excellence.
