Job summary

Summer-Browning Associates is supporting a Central Government client to hire a Digital Capability Manager on a contract until the end of the financial year, with possible extension. Location: London, Bristol or Manchester, predominantly remote with monthly team days.

Lead talent programmes, coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage supplier performance and apply agile delivery using Jira. CIPD qualification desirable; government or NHS experience would help.

Qualifications

• Experience leading talent programmes or initiatives, coordinating multiple stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
• Strong supplier management experience, including monitoring delivery performance, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders and external partners
• The ability to work independently, take ownership of delivery and manage competing priorities.
• Experience using collaborative and agile ways of working, including regular planning, reviews and continuous improvement.
• Experience using delivery tools such as Jira and reporting to track progress, priorities and decisions.
• Government, local authority or NHS experience would be beneficial, alongside experience of apprenticeships or leadership development.
• CIPD qualification desirable
