Tyk Technologies in London is seeking a Junior Developer Advocate to build our presence in API management, AI, and modern infrastructure. You’ll create content, speak at events, and engage with developer communities across Europe. This role is learning‑focused and hands‑on, not a polished marketing position.

Qualifications

• Content experience in writing, video or talks.
• Ability to read code and understand architecture; CS degree welcome but not required.
• Comfortable speaking to small groups and at meetups.
• Genuine curiosity about APIs, AI, governance and infra spaces.
• Willing to travel regularly across Europe.
• Self-directed and energized by a small, fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

• Create content: write and produce regular content on API management, AI and governance, observability, and real customer stories.
• Publish hands-on tutorials and ecosystem guides (Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, OAS, GraphQL, AI/API).
• Learn in public and share progress openly.
• Attend and speak at developer meetups and conferences across Europe.
• Own developer marketing channels (YouTube, blog, community spaces); grow them.
• Experiment, measure what’s working, and iterate with a bias for action.
