Job summary

Greenwood Academies Trust is seeking a Data Protection Support Officer. This home-based role requires occasional travel to sites across the East Midlands. You will help manage breaches, subject access requests, and retention protocols, while developing a culture of privacy by design within schools and departments.

Ideally you have solid data protection knowledge and an interest in education, enabling effective collaboration with our Corporate Affairs team and the Data Protection Officer.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of data protection principles and legislation is essential.
• Ideally some experience of, or interest in, education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day data protection breaches, subject access requests and retention protocols.
• Contribute strategically to a culture of privacy by design across the organisation.
• Report to the Data Protection Officer within Corporate Affairs; support cross-team collaboration.
