Job summary

Prolific is seeking a Data Engineer to build scalable data solutions across the business, from data scientists to AI engineers and product teams. You’ll work in a cloud-native environment with a strong emphasis on privacy, security, and robust data practices.

As part of a collaborative team, you’ll design data pipelines, APIs, and observability, applying IaC and container orchestration tools to keep our platform scalable, reliable, and self-serve for internal teams.

• Experience building production-grade data systems.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Commitment to data quality, privacy, and security.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines powering analytics, ML workloads, and product apps across internal sources.
• Evolve data platform with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and Kubernetes-based deployments (Argo).
• Design and implement scalable data infrastructure for growing data volume and complexity.
• Develop data services and APIs exposing trusted data to product apps.
• Own data quality and observability with monitoring, testing, and alerting.
• Partner with AI engineers, data scientists, analysts, and product teams to design appropriate data solutions.
• Uphold data privacy, security, and compliance in all data systems.
• Create and maintain documentation of data flows, models, and systems for knowledge sharing.
