Qualifications

• Proven data architecture experience within Insurance or Pensions.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale data transformation programmes.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS and Databricks environments.
• Ability to create conceptual, logical and low-level architecture designs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Understanding of data governance and modelling.

Responsibilities

• Define and own data architecture across a large-scale transformation programme.
• Produce conceptual, logical and low-level data architecture designs (LLDs).
• Provide architectural leadership for a modern cloud-based data platform built on AWS and Databricks.
• Translate requirements into scalable solutions with programme leadership, business stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Establish architecture principles, standards and governance processes.
• Ensure architectural alignment across multiple workstreams and delivery teams.
• Support solution design workshops and architecture review boards.
• Drive best practice around data management, modelling and platform design.
