Propel Together is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to work remotely with occasional travel to customer sites. The role focuses on defining security assessment scopes, performing infrastructure penetration tests, and delivering Cyber Essentials and related assessments.

You’ll identify vulnerabilities, advise on practical fixes, and communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders. A security certification is preferred, and MSP/MSSP experience is valuable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT or Cyber Security experience
• Experience delivering infrastructure penetration testing or Cyber Essentials Plus assessments
• Industry-recognised certification (CREST CRT / OSCP / CTSM / VA+ or equivalent)
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• Able to travel to customer sites when required
• MSP/MSSP or similar customer-focused environment experience

Responsabilités

• Define scope and objectives of security assessments with customers
• Deliver infrastructure penetration testing
• Deliver Cyber Essentials / Cyber Essentials Plus assessments
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation guidance
• Communicate findings clearly to customers and senior stakeholders
• Support pre-sales and post-sales activities as needed
• Collaborate with vendors on product updates and issues
• Maintain quality processes and operational documentation
• Share knowledge to build team security capability
• Stay updated on threats and best practices
