Job summary

Michael Page is working with a specialist tax advisory practice to recruit a Remote Director Of Corporate Tax in Bristol. You will lead corporate tax work, oversee day-to-day delivery, and participate in quarterly in-person meetings to stay connected with colleagues.

You will manage a substantial client portfolio, advise on compliance, reporting and advisory matters, and help shape the future of the practice toward Partnership while working fully remotely.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified, or ACA/CTA preferred.
• Extensive Corporate Tax experience in practice or advisory.
• Strong technical knowledge across corporate tax compliance and advisory work.
• Experience managing a client portfolio with significant fee responsibility.
• Ability to independently lead complex tax projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Ambition to progress towards Partnership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of corporate tax work with clear and practical advice.
• Oversee a substantial client portfolio and key deadlines.
• Provide guidance on compliance, reporting and advisory matters.
• Review tax work to ensure quality before issuance.
• Build and maintain productive client relationships through clear communication.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Tax department; attend quarterly meetings.
• Contribute to shaping the continued delivery of corporate tax services.
