Job summary

Shoredons & Co Legal is seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join as a fully remote consultant, focusing on small to medium-sized business sales and acquisitions. The firm already has ongoing work and is investing in marketing and lead generation to fuel growth.

The ideal candidate will advise on corporate transactions for owner-managed businesses, manage matters independently from instruction to completion, and contribute to ongoing client development while delivering pragmatic,

Qualifications

• At least 6 years' PQE as an English-qualified corporate solicitor.
• Experience advising SME mergers and acquisitions.
• Ability to manage transactions independently from instruction to completion.
• Commercially minded with pragmatic guidance.
• Comfortable with smaller transactions and fee-efficient approach.
• Excellent client relationship skills.
• Remote-working proficiency and UK-based.

Responsibilities

• Advise on share sales and acquisitions.
• Advise on asset sales and acquisitions.
• Draft and negotiate shareholders' agreements and articles of association.
• Handle group restructures and reorganisations.
• Manage buybacks, share issues and transfers.
• Provide general corporate matters and contract advice.
