Job Title: Remote Conveyancer

Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)

Are you a self-sufficient conveyancer ready for a remote opportunity? This role is with a dynamic legal firm revolutionising the conveyancing space. You will join a growing team in a fully remote environment and own your caseload.

If you are passionate about delivering top-tier conveyancing services, enjoy managing your own schedule, and have a proven track record of handling files from start to finish, this could be your ideal next step.

Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Caseload Management: Take ownership of a diverse residential caseload, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity—from instruction through post-completion.
  • Exceptional Client Service: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, estate agents, lenders, and other parties. Communicate clearly, proactively, and empathetically to ensure a smooth process for all involved.
  • Applying Your Legal Expertise: Conduct due diligence, interpret search results, flag potential risks, and provide expert, practical advice. Drafting and reviewing legal documents with precision and efficiency.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex legal issues with sound judgment and commercial awareness.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Maintain compliance with SRA regulations, CQS standards, and internal procedures.
  • Mastering Time Management: Manage workload, prioritise tasks, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Tech Savvy: Utilise the firm’s modern case management system and other software to efficiently manage cases and communicate effectively.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years' demonstrable experience as a Conveyancer, managing your own full caseload from instruction to completion.
  • Proven ability to independently handle a mixed caseload of residential property transactions.
  • In-depth knowledge of conveyancing law, practice, and procedures.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using conveyancing case management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • A dedicated home office setup with reliable internet connectivity.
  • Bonus points if you have a qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or CILEx Conveyancing Practitioner (desirable but not essential).
  • Previous experience working in a remote role.
