Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to drive Lean initiatives across the UK North region and Nordic areas. The role emphasizes transforming operations, reducing waste, and delivering measurable value through structured problem solving and standard work.

The successful candidate will coach leaders, engage frontline teams, and work with Service Centres, Field Service, and Supply Chain to boost productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction while traveling across regions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Continuous Improvement or Lean transformation in engineering/manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Experience delivering measurable improvements across productivity, quality, lead times and cost.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deploy Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives across multiple regions.
• Identify waste, inefficiencies and non-value-added activities and eliminate them.
• Support service centres and field teams to improve productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Reduce turnaround times and improve process flow using data-driven decisions.
• Develop standard work, visual management and performance metrics.
• Mentor managers in Lean thinking and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Foster a culture of sustainable improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Track projects and report progress with measurable business impact.
