Job summary

Psychiatry UK is recruiting Consultant Psychiatrist (CYP) for remote, self‑employed roles to support children and adolescents with mental health conditions. You will lead assessments, diagnoses and treatment plans within a digital, patient‑centred framework.

The role emphasizes autonomous practice within a multidisciplinary team, governance compliance and a flexible remote service model that expands care across the UK.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with postgraduate qualification (MRCPsych or equivalent).
• Full GMC registration with licence to practice.
• Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or Paediatrics.
• Minimum of two years post-CCT in CAMHS or community neurodevelopmental pathways.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and management for CYP patients.
• Deliver evidence‑based interventions within a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to governance, quality assurance, and remote service delivery.
