What you will be doing
As a key member of our client's Risk & Compliance team, you will:
- Conduct compliance monitoring testing across our global business to assess adherence to regulatory and legal obligations, including financial crime, data protection, outsourcing and conduct rules and prepare clear written reports
- Support the annual scheduling of reviews within the Compliance Monitoring Programme, working closely with the Compliance Services Manager and regional teams
- Update global Risk & Compliance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the regulatory requirements of each jurisdiction
- Collaborate with Business Services teams such as Finance and HR to support policy alignment and drive consistent compliance across the organisation
- Assist with stakeholder queries and help compile periodic compliance and business reporting on policy updates and our monitoring activities
About you
We welcome applicants from a range of professional backgrounds, whether you are already working in compliance or looking to transition from roles in client administration, finance, accounting, audit, risk, or operational control.
You will ideally bring:
- Experience in a regulated financial services environment in one or more of the following areas: client administration, compliance, audit, risk, or operational control
- A solid understanding of regulated corporate and fiduciary services in Jersey and/or Guernsey. Knowledge of Cayman, BVI, UK, or EU regulation is an advantage
- Strong working knowledge of AML regulations in Jersey or Guernsey. Knowledge of AML requirements in Cayman, BVI, or the UK is beneficial
- Confidence working independently with large volumes of information, able to organise, analyse and interpret data accurately
- A logical and pragmatic risk mindset with the ability to identify meaningful gaps in policies and procedures through sample testing
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally
