Job summary

A prominent health trust in the UK is hiring a Band 8a Clinical or Practitioner Psychologist to join an outstanding team focused on children's mental health. This role involves flexible working across Norfolk, providing assessments and interventions for young people with learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will have advanced psychological training and experience. A compassionate approach and commitment to safeguarding are essential. The salary is £55,690 to £62,682 per year, pro rata.

Qualifications

  • Graduate membership of BPS.
  • Post-graduate doctorate in a relevant psychology field, accredited by BPS.
  • Training in the supervision of clinical psychologists.
  • Registration or application to register with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Application for Chartered status made to British Psychological Society.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and interventions with children and young people.
  • Provide consultation to clinical teams and external agencies.
  • Contribute to supervision, teaching, and training within the team.
  • Utilize research skills for audit and service development.
