Job summary

Bright Purple is seeking a Client Implementation Engineer in Glasgow, offering a hybrid on-site/remote role. You will design, deploy and support real-time analytics solutions for electronic trading clients, working across platform engineering, networking and client delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong Python/Linus skills, Grafana experience and a hands-on, problem-solving mindset. You’ll onboard customers, integrate solutions, build dashboards, and collaborate with engineers to shape product

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Software Delivery or Integration Engineering.
Curious, pragmatic problem-solver with hands-on production-system experience.
Proficient in Python.
Strong Linux skills.
Grafana and dashboards experience.
Development background with Linux/bash scripting.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Degree or equivalent hands-on experience in Computer Science / IS / Engineering.

Responsibilities

Design, deliver and support analytics solutions for clients from requirements gathering to deployment and integration.
Build and maintain infrastructure and platform components for client environments.
Develop scripts and automation workflows, primarily in Python, and transition away from legacy Java components.
Work directly with clients on onboarding, implementation, issue resolution and product training.
Build and support dashboards and visualisations in Grafana; explore data in QuestDB/InfluxDB.
Collaborate with software engineers and ML teams to shape product capabilities and deploy analytics reliably.
