A leading property and construction consultancy seeks an experienced Building Regulations Principal Designer to deliver compliance services across various sectors. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and membership with RIBA or CIAT, alongside strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act. Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Design Management or similar discipline.
• Membership to RIBA, CIAT or similar body.
• Excellent knowledge of the Building Safety Act and building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Offer advice around the Building Safety Act and ensure compliance on projects.
• Liaise with Principal Designer, Principal Contractor, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide technical advice to clients and colleagues.
• Review drawings and designs for compliance.
• Develop compliance trackers for the project life cycle.

Skills

Excellent knowledge of the Building Safety Act

Ability to read drawings and designs

Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Education

Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Design Management or similar discipline

Membership to RIBA, CIAT or similar body
