Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a PhD-level biochemist for a fully remote, hourly contract as a Biochemist – AI Data Trainer. You will design advanced biochemistry challenges, author gold-standard solutions, and audit AI outputs to ensure scientific accuracy and safety.

No prior AI experience required—just rigorous science and attention to detail. The role offers 10–40 hours per week, fully remote from anywhere, and freelance autonomy with meaningful, intellectually stimulating work in cutting-edge AI

Qualifications

• PhD-level biochemist with strong domain expertise in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related fields.
• Ability to communicate highly technical concepts clearly in written English.
• Experience with evaluating and annotating scientific data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design advanced biochemistry challenges to probe AI reasoning across domains.
• Author rigorous ground-truth solutions for complex scientific tasks.
• Audit AI outputs for biochemical pathways, structures, and quantitative analyses.
