Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Social Care Practitioner with experience in Best Interest Assessments.
• Proven experience in carrying out Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards assessments.
• Excellent ability to produce clear and concise reports.

Responsibilities

• Act as Best Interest Assessor (BIA) for assessments.
• Support Adult Social Care teams in legal compliance.
• Conduct assessments to determine deprivation of liberty safeguards.

Skills

Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act

Experience in assessing capacity
