Job summary

Outlier invites software engineers to join as OpenClaw Agent Builder contractors. This remote freelance role offers pay up to $50 USD/hr with weekly payments. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in backend engineering, AI automation, or complex systems integration and will contribute to training LLMs for proactive, multi-step agent behavior.

You can work from anywhere with flexible hours and ongoing incentives. Prior experience with live environments and API integration is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in backend engineering, AI automation, or complex systems integration.
• Proven ability to build and maintain production-grade software with modular separation (e.g., distinct services for data parsing, logic processing, and reporting).
• Practical experience building for live, non-mocked environments and handling multi-turn system interactions.
• Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to provide clear, high-density technical feedback on complex system behaviors.
