Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Integration Solutions Architect to lead the design, governance and modernization of enterprise integration across cloud-native, legacy and partner environments. The role focuses on Microsoft Azure and Azure API Management (APIM), designing secure, scalable and resilient integration architectures.

You will work with engineering, platform and DevOps teams to establish API standards and secure connectivity.

Qualifications

8+ years' experience across software engineering, solution or integration architecture.
Strong experience designing distributed, cloud and enterprise integration solutions.
Deep hands-on architectural knowledge of Azure API Management (APIM).
Experience with APIM networking, internal VNets, private DNS and Hub-and-Spoke.
Solid API security knowledge including OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, mTLS and Entra ID.
Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tooling and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end architecture and design of enterprise integration across Azure, on-premises and hybrid environments.
Produce HLDs, Solution Architecture Documents and API specifications.
Design and govern APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
Define API design standards, OpenAPI, versioning and lifecycle management.
Establish APIM products, subscriptions, throttling and consumption models.
Design APIM policies covering authentication, routing, transformation and validation.
Guide CI/CD and APIOps for API deployments with DevOps teams.
Mentor engineering teams and promote API-first, loosely coupled architectures.
