Job summary

Psychiatry UK is seeking an ADHD Specialist Independent Prescriber to work remotely as a contractor across the UK. You will provide specialist prescribing, titration and ongoing management of ADHD medications for adults, collaborating with psychiatrists and other clinicians where needed.

The role requires clinical independence, strong communication, and up-to-date knowledge of ADHD guidelines and safeguarding. This is a contract-for-services engagement with flexible session patterns.

Qualifications

• Experience prescribing ADHD in adults including initiation, titration and review.
• Registered and ambulatory prescribing authority for contracted services.
• Appropriate professional indemnity insurance and UK practice registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist ADHD prescribing and medication management within scope of practice.
• Initiate, titrate, review and monitor ADHD medications for adults.
• Respond to patient queries via secure digital systems.
• Maintain accurate confidential clinical records and participate in governance activities.
