Job summary
Psychiatry UK is recruiting an ADHD Specialist Independent Prescriber for a remote, home-based role across the UK. The post involves independent or supplementary prescribing for adults with ADHD, working closely with clinicians to titrate and monitor treatment within NICE guidelines.
Reporting to the Titration Team Lead, you will manage a defined caseload, conduct regular reviews, and maintain high standards of clinical governance. UK residency required with occasional travel for meetings.
Qualifications
- Sound clinical experience in initiation, titration, and management of ADHD in adults.
- Experience with independent or supplementary prescribing within ADHD services.
- Ability to work effectively in remote/digital healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective prescribing for adult ADHD within NICE guidelines and Psychiatry UK policies.
- Manage a defined caseload during titration and ongoing treatment.
- Conduct timely end-of-titration reviews and annual medication reviews.
- Communicate with patients via Psychiatry UK's secure portal with clear guidance.
- Collaborate with Consultant Psychiatrists and ADHD service team for coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in digital health systems.
