A leading financial technology platform in Belfast is seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer for a 6-month initial contract. Responsibilities include building and executing an automation testing strategy across their platform. Candidates should have strong experience with Playwright or Selenium, solid knowledge of API testing, and skills in C#. The position offers a hybrid work model with 3 days on-site and 2 remote.

Automation QA Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join a relocation project to Belfast for a leading financial technology platform. This is a 6-month initial contract, working 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week. (No sponsorship available.)

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for building and executing a complete automation testing strategy across the platform covering C# backend APIs, GraphQL layers, and React frontends. Using tools like SpecFlow and Playwright, you’ll ensure every release is secure, stable, and production‑ready.

Key Skills

• Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer
• Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright or Selenium
• Solid knowledge of API testing (REST / GraphQL)
• Basic C# scripting/programming skills
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AWS / Azure environments
• Experience with performance or load testing
• Background in financial services or fintech
