Job summary

Royal Mencap Society is seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team in Cranleigh. You will assist five individuals with learning disabilities in daily living at home and in the community, fostering independence and social engagement.

The role covers personal care, mobility support, meals, outings, and household tasks. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; DBS checks are part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities at home and in the community to support independence.
• Provide emotional support and help individuals make informed choices about their lives.
• Support outings, meals out, family visits, holidays, and social activities.
• Assist with household tasks: cleaning, laundry, cooking, shopping, gardening.
