Job summary

Creative Support in Barrow-in-Furness is seeking a Relief/Bank Support Worker to assist people with learning disabilities and mental health support needs in our supported living service in Barrow, Cumbria.

You will help individuals lead independent lives, participate in activities, manage daily living tasks, including budgeting, shopping, medication and personal care as required, both at home and in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience of at least 12 months in care is essential.
• Warm, caring nature and commitment to making a positive difference.

Responsibilities

• Enable service users to live a fulfilling and independent life at home and in the community.
• Assist with day-to-day living tasks such as budgeting, shopping and personal care.
• Work flexibly including evenings and weekends to meet service needs.
• Support users to build confidence and independence in daily living and social skills.
