Creative Support is looking for a warm, reliable and proactive Relief Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Here we provide quality care and support to individuals with a range of support needs including learning disabilities, Autism, and mental health needs. Our vibrant supported living service in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire is home to 14 service users living in self-contained flats. No two days will be the same at this service as we support our service users to follow their passions and engage in a range of activities including:

  • cooking/baking
  • board games
  • movie nights
  • arts and crafts
  • many more!

We are looking for someone with a great sense of humour and who is looking to join a friendly and energetic staff team.

Your role will include:

  • Providing personal care, administering medication and lone working
  • Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities both within and outside their homes
  • Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullest
  • Full time hours (37.5 hours per week) and a willingness to work sleep ins

The service has great public transport links and is a 5 minute walk away from the bus station.

Previous experience is essential and you will receive a full local and corporate induction.

This is a relief position, which enables you to pick up shifts at a time that suits you, which is ideal for fitting around personal commitments, study or caring responsibilities. The flexible shift pattern includes evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. In addition to opportunities for personal and career development, we offer good conditions of service and a supportive, hands‑on management culture.
