Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Relief Security Officer for the DWP Preston/Blackpool area. Shifts are day-based, with variability in hours as you cover for colleagues on holidays or sickness.

You will patrol, manage access, respond to incidents, and liaise with emergency services while maintaining professional conduct and superb customer service. A valid SIA licence, previous security experience, and a UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence
• Previous security experience
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• Flexible availability for day shifts

Responsibilities

• Patrol sites and control access
• Respond to incidents and emergencies
• Liaise with emergency services when required
• Provide excellent customer service
• Complete incident reports and follow security procedures
