Job summary

Relief Security Officer role with Sodexo at Diageo Leven involves maintaining a safe environment across day and night shifts. You’ll perform security checks, monitor activity and respond to incidents while staying calm under pressure.

You must hold a valid frontline SIA licence and First Aid certificate, and be flexible to a 4-shift pattern per week. A driving licence and good communication complete the profile.

Qualifications

• Frontline SIA licence required.
• First Aid certificate required.
• Knowledge of basic security operations and procedures.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies.
• Flexible approach to working days and nights with no fixed pattern.
• Full driving licence with minimal points (0-6).
• Basic computer skills desirable.
• Good communication and a professional approach.
• Must complete BS7858 vetting.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day security operations across the site.
• Carry out security checks and ensure a safe environment.
• Monitor site activity and respond to incidents or emergencies.
• Follow site security procedures and escalate concerns as needed.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting employees, visitors and contractors.
• Complete required security records and reports accurately.
• Work flexibly across the day and night shift pattern.
