Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Greater London is seeking a security officer to protect our customer's property, people and assets. You will patrol, report incidents and work with the team to ensure safety on site.

You will follow assignments, SOPs and safety rules, pass the Work Safety Induction and Depot Track Access, and complete Merlin entries. Mitie offers a flexible benefits platform, a virtual GP and life cover.

Formación

• Previous security experience required.
• SIA DS license required.

Main Duties

Operations

• Follow Assignment Instructions, SOPs and Security Notices.
• Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements.
• Follow instructions and procedures.
• Follow directions from management and Mobile Supervisors.

Training

• Pass Work Safety Induction (WSI)
• Pass Depot Track Access (DTA)

NOTE* Before the above training takes place you will be require to pass the following

• Medical Examination
• Drug & Alcohol Test

NOTE* Failure to pass these above will result in your offer of employment being retracted and you will not progress further.

Security and Health & Safety

• Look out for, and report, Health & Safety hazards, or potential hazards, on site.
• Stay alert to any threats or changes within the work environment.
• Use common sense and initiative by immediately involving others if a situation appears to become threatening.
• To maintain professional conduct in the face of difficult situations and challenging customers.
• Complete an accurate, detailed Merlin entries and reports as soon as possible.
• Ensure patrols are completed.
• Escalate issues to the Fleet Security Command Centre (FSCC)
