Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols across all sites to ensure security.
• Check IDs, manage visitor passes and enforce access procedures.
• Monitor CCTV, identify suspicious activity and respond appropriately.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and alarms swiftly.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and reports.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures.
• Inspect and maintain security equipment.
• Travel between sites as required.
• Provide high-quality customer service while upholding security protocols.

We are looking for a Security Officer to join our team covering three sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is proactive, physically fit, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment. As a Security Officer covering multiple sites, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the sites, staff, visitors, and assets. The role involves significant walking, so being physically fit is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting regular foot and vehicle patrols across all three sites to ensure all areas are secure and to check for unauthorized access or security breaches
• Managing entry points by checking IDs, issuing visitor passes, and enforcing site access procedures
• Monitoring CCTV systems, identifying suspicious activity, and responding appropriately
• Responding quickly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and alarm activations
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of incidents and activities
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures
• Inspecting and maintaining security equipment
• Driving between sites as required
• Providing high-quality customer service while upholding all security protocols

Qualifications

• Must be a born British citizen or have held a British passport for a minimum of 5 years
• Must have a 5-year checkable work history
• Must be able to obtain SC clearance
